I’ve been a hairdresser since 1975 and when Anna Marie Cerretta, the marketing director at Sequence, used the expression “virtual hair consultation” I had no idea what she was talking about. Then she explained her concept: a “virtual hair consultation” is a way of conducting a personal, private, one-on-one hair consultation without being in the same room as the client.
I have to admit that when Anna Marie first brought up the concept I thought it was a Hair-brained idea. (Excuse the pun.) But then she explained why it was important.
For people to understand how our unique Blending Strand® invention surpasses typical hair replacements, hair extension, hair weaves, hair systems alone with any of the adding hair systems they need to see how it works. Until now, our conventional one-on-one consultations—which require that a person walks into our unmarked building and sits in a private office—has been the most effective way of communicating Sequencing. But while these consultations have been successful and very comfortable for our clients, they are not viable for people who cannot travel to our hair studio, or for those that are uncomfortable showing up in person.
I understood her point but still couldn’t wrap my arms around the “virtual” part of her concept. She explained that we can perform Sequence consultations over the phone, through the computer, or through a computer’s video camera. Obviously, a video camera allows clients to see us and our unique Blending Strand ® invention, but all of these new methods allow us to show how Sequence has become one of the safest, most natural (and least detectable) methods of increasing hair volume and length in the world.
I knew she was on to something. I saw how virtual consultations could give everybody the same attention—whether they were sitting within Sequence or not. These consultations would allow us to speak with people all over the globe, something we were not able to do before. My only hesitation was that people like to touch things when shopping—and there’s no way we would be able to put hair in somebody’s hand over the computer. But then I realized how many products are displayed on the web and realized that our virtual consultations would include a one-on-one conversation—making them the most detailed presentation on the Internet.
I thought of all the people I’ve met who wanted hair extensions, hair weaves, hair systems, hair restorations, hair pieces, or wigs. They would no longer have to show up at an office to inquire about the details. Yes, there will always be those who prefer an in-person consultation, but now Sequence would be able to offer both options. All a person needs is a computer, and if needed, a video camera (which can be purchased on line for a little as $29). In the end, those that opt for a virtual hair consultation would be choosing the more private consultation because they are sitting in their own homes during the presentation!
“You’re right,” I told Anna Marie, knowing that she had come up with a revolutionary method of presenting a revolutionary process. Now Sequence virtual hair consultations are being conducted with people all over the globe. Our consultations use these conferences as a way of showing the Blending Strand® invention—the key component to the Sequence procedure—along with all the other factors that make Sequencing® the safest, most invisible way of increasing hair volume and/or length in the world!
So if you’re suffering from hair loss—be it from alopecia areata, alopecia universalis, alopecia totalis, lupus, genetic male pattern hair loss, female pattern hair loss, bariactic surgery or chemotherapy—don’t hesitate before scheduling a virtual hair consultation. You no longer need to come to our office to have a personal hair consultation that shows you the advantages of our process. Just email Anna Marie at amc@sequencehair.com.
And truthfully, don’t thank me—thank Anna Marie. It was her idea.
