The Air-Strand – Now making wigs obsolete

What is an Air-Strand???

The Air-Strand is an advanced hair loss breakthrough especially created for chemotherapy patients.
The Air-Strand successfully increases hair volume and/or length through each stage of hair-loss caused from Chemotherapy, from any and all stages of loosing hair through the re-growth stages.

The Air-Strand is created with an invention called a Blending Strand®. This Blending Strand® is an advanced filament when placed on the skin or scalp becomes translucent upon contact.

Next, an advanced instrument called an Airator is used to secure one human hair at a time onto the Blending Strand®. This advanced procedure of adding single human hairs onto the Blending Strands® is called Airating. The Airator has a microscopic hook that is the diameter of one single human hair. It secures single human hairs in a 360 formation, allowing each hair to move freely in any direction.

How the Air-Strand works - with any thinness and/or length of existing hair OR any degree of baldness???

  1. The translucent Blending Strands® are created with a combination of different open spaces to allow the scalp to breathe properly. This also allows the patient's hairs to come through the openings and lets newly growing hairs grow naturally. This does not "cover" the patient's head and gives a free, natural feeling.
  2. Due to the advanced single hair Airating technique much less hair is needed to create any degree fullness.
  3. The combination of the translucent Blending Strands® with their open spaces alone with the advanced single human hair Airating technique enables any area to become filled in, with any degree of existing hair, no matter how bald, how thin or how short the patient's existing hair condition is. This is why the Air-Strand is perfect for Chemotherapy hair-loss patients – it works though any and all stage of hair loss.

Attachment - How does the Air-Strandstay on the patient's head?

The Blending Strands® are contoured to the exact shape of each individual's head. Because the Blending Strands® are soft and flexible they follow every curve of the patient's head. This causes a high degree of self hold while giving the feeling as if nothing is there but your own hair.

  • Existing Hair Attachment – A technique called Airo-Stranding is used to attach the Blending Strands® to the patient's existing hairs. Airo-Stranding is the safest and lightest method of attachment in the industry. It attaches the Blending Strands® to the client's own hair right next to their scalp only using a single Blending Strand® filament.
    • ** Safety – All of the patient's existing hairs are up, out and free. None of the patient's hairs are covered nor tied down. Plus the scalp is fully exposed to breathe naturally.
    • ** Patient's hair falling out - If any of the patient's existing hairs fall out during their chemotherapy treatments the Air-Strand will still stay attached because it is contoured to the shape of the patient's head. Plus the Airo-Stranding attachment is holding onto the clients existing hairs in various areas throughout the head. This causes back-up security throughout the entire head.
  • Bald Area Attachment – If the patient loses all of their hair, the Air-Strand will stay attached due to the following:
    • ** The Flex-Strand: A half-millimeter Blending Strand® called a Flex-Strand is used along the front hairline and the nape of the neck. It fills in completely bald areas while allowing the scalp to remain visible. It appears as if single human hairs are growing directly out of the patient's scalp.
    • ** Flex-Strand secures in two manners - Due to the Flex-Strand combined with the open Blending Strands® being contoured to the exact shape, curves and size of the patient's head the Air-Strand becomes self-secure. As an alternative, the Flex-Strand enables a small potion of a special locking tape to be utilized for extra hold. If used, this locking tape is only used on a completely bald area and for a temporary period until the patient's hair grows back.

When the patient's hair grows back we then revert to the Airo-Stranding attachment onto the patient's existing hair, regardless of how short the patient's existing hair is. The Flex-Strand is designed to be added and/or removed to accommodate the changing conditions of the patient's hair.

  1. Covers the existing hair.

The Air-Strand

  1. Does NOT cover existing hair. It allows existing hairs to come through the opening of the Air-Strand.
  2. Fills in bald areas without covering the scalp.
  3. No cap feeling - because the scalp is free to breathe due to the extremely fine Blending Strand alone with the Blending Strand opening. This is not only healthier but gives the patient the feeling as if the patient is not wearing anything.
  4. No pressure around the perimeter of the head due to the hair-like filaments called the Blending Strands.
  5. Does not cause hair loss because the Blending Strands® are open—allowing scalp and existing hairs to breath naturally.
  6. Does not feel hot. It feels as if there is nothing on the head.
  7. The patient does not have to remove the Air-Strand because it allows the scalp to breathe. (The patient has the choice to remove the Air-Strand or keep the Air-Strands on as if all the added hair is their own.)
  8. The Air-Strands fill in bald areas while leaving the scalp visible. Plus, the Air-Strand adds hairs in between any the patient's natural hair growth. It does not cover the patient's hair.
  9. The Air-Strands allow patients to touch their scalp—or brush their hair right down to the scalp.
  10. The Air-Strand is healthy because the scalp breathes normally.
  11. The Air-Strand is successful during all and any stages of regrowth.
  12. The Air-Strand allows the patient to wear any style—or to change styles as they wish.

Cost and payment options
The Air-Strand is available in multiple price options due to different hair origins available. Any hair origin will match any hair texture due to a flexible array of personalized texturing we offer. It's the specialized texturing Sequence creates on each of the various origins that cause a perfect match of texture. So this allow the patient the ability to select from an arrow of flexible prices

Insurance coverage assistance
Due to the Air-Strand being a procedure and/or product for chemotherapy hair-loss, Sequence® assists with any documentation needed for insurance purposes. Sequence will work with each patient on an individual basis, and help acquire the Air-Strand quicker if delays in insurance coverage occur.

Sequence® has a doctor on staff to help with insurance coverage.

Special Discount for Chemotherapy patients
Any patients recommended by a doctor will receive a 25% discount. This will also assist for any percentages of non insurance coverage's. Children under the age of 18 recommended by a doctor will receive a 50% discount. Important – If you discovered the Air-Strand yourself and/or someone other than a doctor recommended you, simple have you doctor contact us or have your doctor write us a note stating the doctor recognizes and/or recommends the Air-Strand as a hair replacement due to hair-loss from chemotherapy. How long does it take to receive The Air-Strand?

Depending on your situation, it takes from one to eight weeks to receive your Air-Strand. With that in mind, it's to your advantage to have a consultation as soon as possible. We accommodate emergency cases with expedited delivery.
